Privacy Policy

Last updated — October 2026

Overview

This policy covers the apps published by MMH Adventures, LLC. Our apps differ in what they need to do their job: some work entirely offline and never touch the network, while a weather app has to ask a weather service what the weather is. Rather than make one sweeping claim that cannot be true of every app, this policy states what applies to all of them, and then what applies to each one specifically.

Please read the section for the app you are using. For PureWX in particular, see PureWX below, because it does send location information to weather providers.

What is true of every app we publish

Across all of our apps:

  • We do not require you to create an account, and we do not have accounts to create.
  • We do not display advertisements.
  • We do not include advertising, analytics, attribution or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
  • We do not build user profiles, and we have no server that stores information about you.

What differs between apps is whether the app needs to contact an outside service at all. That is described per app below.

Data stored on your device

Preferences and settings you configure are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. Where an app includes widgets, those preferences and the most recent cached content are also written to a shared app group container so the widget can display them. This data:

  • Stays on your device
  • Is not sent to us, and we have no way to read it
  • Is removed when you delete the app

iOS may include app data in your own device backups, according to your iCloud and backup settings. That is between you, your device and Apple.

Third-party services

Alt Time, Streak, Cute Animals Cussing and Potty Mouth Stickers do not contact any third-party service. StarKeep contacts none either; its only sync is through your own iCloud account, if you have it turned on. PureWX contacts the weather and map providers listed in its section below. We do not use analytics or advertising networks in any app.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not ask for names, email addresses, contacts, photos or any other personal details in any app. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

Where an app uses location, iOS controls that permission and you can change or revoke it at any time in Settings, or choose a city manually instead. Deleting an app removes the data it stored on your device.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

App-Specific Information

PureWX

PureWX is a free weather app. It has no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases and no account. It does, however, have to ask outside weather services for a forecast, and that request necessarily includes a location.

What is sent, and to whom. To retrieve a forecast, current conditions or radar, PureWX sends geographic coordinates to:

  • The National Weather Service (weather.gov), for United States forecasts, observations and alerts
  • Open-Meteo, for forecast data and air quality
  • RainViewer, for precipitation radar map tiles

Those coordinates are either your device location, if you granted location permission, or the coordinates of a city you chose yourself. As with any internet request, these providers also receive your device's IP address. We do not add any identifier of our own, and none of these requests include a name, email address, device identifier or account.

Provider logging. These are independent services with their own policies. Open-Meteo's published policy states that it retains request logs, which can contain coordinates, for up to 90 days. We do not control that retention and cannot delete those logs on your behalf. Because a request log can associate coordinates with an IP address, we describe this data conservatively as capable of being linked to you, even though we do not link it ourselves.

Location permission is optional. You can decline the location prompt and use city search instead — the app works the same way. If you do grant permission, PureWX requests only "While Using the App" access, and iOS lets you choose precise or approximate location. You can change or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.

City search. When you search for a city, PureWX uses Apple's built-in MapKit search. Your search text is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. PureWX does not keep its own database of your searches.

Stored on your device. Your saved cities, unit preferences, appearance choice and the most recently retrieved weather are stored on your device, and in a shared app group container so the widgets can display them. Deleting the app removes all of it.

What PureWX does not do. It does not display ads, include analytics or tracking code, require an account, send background severe-weather notifications, or share your information with anyone other than the weather and map providers named above for the sole purpose of answering your request.

Cute Animals Cussing

Cute Animals Cussing is a sticker app for Messages. It is free, with a one-time purchase that unlocks the full pack. It has no ads, no subscription, no account and no analytics. It is one of the simplest apps we publish: a folder of pictures, the captions printed on them, and a way to unlock them.

It collects nothing. The app contains no networking code of its own. It makes no requests to us or to anyone else, so there is nothing for us to receive, store or sell. The only exchange is with Apple's App Store when you buy or restore the unlock, described under Your purchase below. We could not tell you how many stickers you have sent, which ones you like, or whether you have opened the pack at all. We do not know who you are.

Stickers you send travel through Messages, not through us. When you send or place a sticker it is handled entirely by Apple's Messages app, exactly like any other image you send, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Our app hands the picture to Messages and plays no further part. We never see your conversations, your contacts, or which stickers you chose.

No permissions are requested. The pack does not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or notifications. If you are prompted for a permission while using it, that prompt came from Messages or iOS, not from us.

Stored on your device. Only the stickers themselves, as part of the app. There is no database, no record of your activity and no shared container. Whether you have unlocked the pack is recorded by Apple against your Apple Account, not by us. Deleting the app removes everything from your device.

Your purchase. The unlock is an in-app purchase, handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate sales figures. We never see your name, email address or payment details.

Children. This app is age-rated for older users and is not directed at children. It contains frequent strong language, which is rather the point.

Potty Mouth Stickers

Potty Mouth Stickers is a sticker app for Messages. It is free, with a one-time purchase that unlocks the full pack and every sticker added later. It has no ads, no subscription, no account and no analytics.

It collects nothing. The app sends nothing to us or to anyone else, so there is nothing for us to receive, store or sell. The only exchange is with Apple's App Store when you buy or restore the unlock, described under Your purchase below. We do not know who you are or which stickers you send.

Stored on your device. The app remembers two things, on your device only: your four most recent stickers, so it can show them under Recently used (tap Clear to empty the row), and your choice of style, bubble colour and view (grid or list). None of it ever leaves your device, and deleting the app removes it. Whether you have unlocked the pack is recorded by Apple against your Apple Account, not by us.

Stickers you send travel through Messages, not through us. When you send or place a sticker it is handled entirely by Apple's Messages app, exactly like any other image, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. We never see your conversations, your contacts, or which stickers you chose.

No permissions are requested. The app does not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or notifications.

Your purchase. The unlock is an in-app purchase, handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate sales figures. We never see your name, email address or payment details. The Rate button simply opens the app's page in the App Store.

Children. This app is age-rated for older users and is not directed at children. It contains frequent strong language.

Alt Time

Alt Time works entirely offline. Its city database ships inside the app, so it makes no network requests at all.

Alt Time stores your widget preferences — such as the alternate time format toggle, your selected cities and widget appearance — locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This information:

  • Is only used to control what the app and its widgets display
  • Remains on your device only
  • Is deleted when you uninstall the app

No time data, usage patterns, location or any other information is collected or transmitted.

Streak

Streak counts the days since something you stopped, such as drinking, smoking or vaping, and the days until something you are looking forward to. It is free, with an optional one-time purchase, Streak Pro. It has no ads, no account and no analytics.

Your counters never leave your device. What you track in Streak can be personal, including your sobriety. The names of your counters, their start and target dates, your past streaks and any notes you write are stored only on your device, in a shared app group container so the widgets can show them. Streak makes no network requests of its own, has no server, and does not sync between devices, so there is nothing for us to receive. We cannot see what you count or for how long. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Face ID lock. If you turn on the optional lock, Streak asks iOS to confirm it is you with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. iOS only tells Streak whether that succeeded; Streak never receives or stores your face, fingerprint or passcode.

Notifications. Chip notifications are scheduled on your device by iOS. They are not sent from a server, and you can turn them off in Streak's settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

Lock Screen widgets. Anything on your Lock Screen can be seen without unlocking your phone. Streak's "Hide counts on Lock Screen" setting replaces the counter in its Lock Screen widgets with a lock, and iOS can also hide widget content until you unlock.

Your purchase. Streak Pro is bought and restored through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate sales figures; we never see your name, email address or payment details. When you buy or restore, the App Store confirms the purchase with Apple's servers. That is Apple's traffic, covered by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

No permissions beyond these. Streak does not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The only prompts it can show are for notifications and, if you turn on the lock, Face ID.

Not a treatment program. Streak is a counter. It gives no medical advice and shares nothing with any health service.

StarKeep

StarKeep is a logic puzzle game. It is free, with an optional one-time purchase, StarKeep Plus. It has no ads, no account, no analytics and no tracking, and it collects no data.

Your progress stays with you. Your settings, your level in progress, your points, stats, achievements, unlocked themes and past puzzle results are stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for StarKeep, your points, stats, furthest level and finished lessons are also kept in your own iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. That copy lives in Apple's iCloud, under your Apple Account; we cannot read it.

No network requests of our own. Puzzles, including the Daily Challenge, are generated on your device. StarKeep has no server and sends nothing to us.

Feedback. The Feedback button opens your email app with a draft to us that includes the app version, iOS version and device model, so we can help. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself.

Your purchase. StarKeep Plus is bought and restored through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells us nothing about you beyond aggregate sales figures; we never see your name, email address or payment details. That is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

No permissions. StarKeep does not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, notifications or tracking.
