Frequently Asked Questions

How can I contact you?

You can reach us via email at contact@mmhadventures.com. We welcome questions, feedback, and suggestions about our apps.

Do your apps collect any data?

None of our apps show ads, include analytics or tracking code, or require an account, and we have no server that stores information about you. What differs is whether an app needs the network at all. Alt Time works entirely offline. Streak keeps your counters on your device and makes no network requests of its own. PureWX is a weather app, so it must send a location — either your device location or a city you chose — to the weather providers it queries in order to get a forecast back. See our privacy policy for the full detail, including which providers and how long they keep request logs.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email the address in that app's section below (or contact@mmhadventures.com) with a description of the issue, your device model, and iOS/macOS version. Screenshots help too.

Alt Time iOS
How do I get help with Alt Time?

Email alttime@mmhadventures.com with your question, your device model and your iOS version. Screenshots help. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

How do I add Alt Time to my lock screen?
  1. Long-press on your iPhone lock screen
  2. Tap "Customize" then select your lock screen
  3. Tap on the widget area below the time
  4. Find "Alt Time" in the widget list
  5. Choose your preferred widget style

For the home screen World Clock: add your cities in the app, then long-press the home screen, tap Edit > Add Widget, and choose Alt Time in Small, Medium or Large. Long-press a placed widget and tap Edit Widget to change its color or which cities it shows.

Why are there multiple widget styles?

Apple's lock screen widgets have strict design limitations — text alignment and sizing are controlled at the system level. We ship a variant for every slot — circular or rectangular, labeled or bare, tinted or clean — plus a dual-time widget that fits two zones in a single slot, so you can choose what works for your layout.

What iOS version do I need?

Alt Time requires iOS 17 or later.

Does Alt Time work on iPad?

Alt Time is built for iPhone. It is not currently offered on iPad.

Cute Animals Cussing Coming soon
How do I get help with Cute Animals Cussing?

Email cuteanimalscussing@mmhadventures.com with your question, your device model and your iOS version. Screenshots help. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

I installed it but there's no app icon

That is expected. It is an app for Messages, not a standalone app, so it has no Home Screen icon and nothing to open. You will find it inside Messages: open a conversation, tap the + next to the text field, scroll down past the built-in options, and choose Cute Animals Cussing. It is not in the Stickers tab.

How do I delete it?

There is no Home Screen icon to press and hold. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage), choose Cute Animals Cussing, then Delete App.

How do I send a sticker?

Open the pack in Messages and tap any sticker to drop it into the message field, then send as usual. You can add a comment before sending, or send the sticker on its own.

How do I stick one onto a message or a photo?

Press and hold a sticker, then drag it onto the bubble or photo you want to decorate.

It will land quite small. That is the size Messages uses for every placed sticker, not something particular to this pack. To make it bigger, keep holding the sticker and pinch outward with a second finger before you let go — you can twist at the same time to rotate it. Most people never discover this, and it is the difference between a thumbnail and something you can actually see.

At small sizes the caption becomes decorative rather than readable, so if the words matter, send the sticker on its own instead of placing it.

Note that placing a sticker this way sends it immediately — there is no separate send step, so aim carefully.

What do I need to run it?

iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later, on iPhone or iPad. It works anywhere Messages does on those devices.

What happens if I send one to someone on Android?

These are iMessage stickers, designed for people using Messages on Apple devices. Sent to a non-iMessage recipient the conversation falls back to SMS/MMS, and a sticker will either arrive as a plain image or not arrive at all, depending on the recipient's carrier and phone. Stickers placed onto a message bubble do not survive that trip.

What is free, and what do I pay for?

Four stickers are free. One purchase of $1.99 unlocks all 53 for good: no subscription, no ads and nothing further to buy. Tap Unlock all 53 at the top of the sticker drawer, or tap any locked sticker.

The stickers you unlock are uncensored. Until you buy, locked stickers show their captions masked (f***), so you can see what you are getting. Once unlocked, every sticker is the real thing.

If you reinstall or get a new device, the unlock comes back automatically with the same Apple Account. If it does not, tap Restore next to the unlock button. You will not be charged again.

Does it collect any data about me?

No. The app contains no networking code of its own, so it cannot send anything anywhere. The purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Some of the language is quite strong

It is, and that is the product. The app is age-rated accordingly and the store listing says so plainly. If that is not what you are after, our other apps are considerably better behaved.

That is expected. It is an app for Messages, not a standalone app, so it has no Home Screen icon and nothing to open. You will find it inside Messages: open a conversation, tap the + next to the text field, scroll down past the built-in options, and choose Potty Mouth. It is not in the Stickers tab.

How do I delete it?

There is no Home Screen icon to press and hold. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage), choose Potty Mouth, then Delete App.

How do I send a sticker?

Open Potty Mouth in Messages and tap any sticker to drop it into the message field, then send as usual. Swipe up and down in the drawer to see them all. Your last four show up under Recently used at the top; tap Clear next to it to empty that row.

How do I stick one onto a message or a photo?

Press and hold a sticker, then drag it onto the bubble or photo you want. It lands small, which is how Messages places every sticker. To make it bigger, keep holding and pinch outward with a second finger before you let go. Placing a sticker sends it straight away, so aim carefully.

How do I find a sticker quickly?

Tap the view button next to ⋯ at the top of the drawer and choose Large grid, Small grid (four per row) or List. The list shows every saying as a line of text with a small sticker beside it; tap a row to add that sticker to your message, or press and hold the small sticker to place it on a bubble. In the list you can also search: type a word and only the sayings that contain it stay. The app remembers which view you used last.

What are Her, Words, Pink and Black?

Every saying comes four ways: with her and a speech bubble (Her) or as the speech bubble on its own (Words), each with a pink or a black bubble. Switch at the top of the drawer; the app remembers your choice. That's 120 stickers from 30 sayings.

What is free, and what do I pay for?

Seven sayings are free, in all four styles. One purchase of $1.99 unlocks all of them for good, including every new sticker we add later: no subscription, no ads and nothing further to buy. Tap Unlock all at the bottom of the sticker drawer, or tap any locked sticker.

The stickers you unlock are uncensored. Until you buy, locked stickers are dimmed and their captions are masked. Once unlocked, every sticker is the real thing.

If you reinstall or get a new device, the unlock comes back automatically with the same Apple Account. If it does not, tap the ⋯ button at the top right of the drawer, then Restore purchase. You will not be charged again.

What do I need to run it?

iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later, on iPhone or iPad. These are iMessage stickers; sent to someone on Android, a sticker arrives as a plain picture or not at all, depending on their carrier.

Does it collect any data about me?

No. It has no account, no ads and no analytics, and it sends nothing to us. The purchase is handled by Apple. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Some of the language is strong

It is, and that is the point. The app is age-rated accordingly and the store listing says so plainly.

PureWX iOS
How do I get help with PureWX?

Email purewx@mmhadventures.com with your question, your device model and your iOS version. Screenshots help. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

Is PureWX really free?

Yes. PureWX is free, with no advertisements, no subscription, no in-app purchases and no account. There is no paid tier and nothing is held back behind a purchase.

Do I have to allow location access?

No. You can decline the location prompt and search for a city instead — the app works the same way. If you do allow it, PureWX asks only for "While Using the App" access, and you can change or revoke that at any time in iOS Settings. Either way, the coordinates for whichever place you are viewing are sent to the weather providers so they can return a forecast.

How do I add the widgets?
  1. Home screen: long-press an empty area, tap the + button, search for PureWX, then choose Small, Medium or Large.
  2. Lock screen: long-press the lock screen, tap "Customize", select the widget area, then pick PureWX.

Long-press a placed widget and tap "Edit Widget" to choose whether it follows your current location or one of your saved cities. Open the app once first so the widget has data to show.

Why doesn't the radar show where the rain is going?

The radar shows precipitation that has already been observed, not a forecast of where it will move. Each frame is labeled with the time it was actually recorded, so you can always tell how recent the picture is. Forward-projected radar is not currently offered.

Why does PureWX disagree with another weather app?

PureWX combines National Weather Service and Open-Meteo data where both are available. Different apps use different sources and different models, so they will not always agree. When our two sources disagree about rain, PureWX tells you so rather than silently picking one. Coverage and the measurements available also vary by location — the National Weather Service covers the United States, and some values simply are not published everywhere.

Will PureWX alert me about severe weather?

Not in the background. Weather alerts are shown inside the app when they are available for the place you are viewing, but PureWX does not send push notifications. Please continue to rely on official emergency alerts.

What iOS version do I need, and does it work on iPad?

PureWX requires iOS 18.2 or later, and runs on both iPhone and iPad.

Streak iOS
How do I get help with Streak?

Email streak@mmhadventures.com with your question, your device model and your iOS version. Screenshots help. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

What is Streak Pro? Is it a subscription?

No. Streak is free with two counters and the Edition theme. Streak Pro is a one-time purchase that adds unlimited counters, all eight themes, seven more icons and the chip widget. It is included with Family Sharing. On a new device or after reinstalling, open Settings in Streak and tap Restore purchase.

How do chips work?

A counter that counts up earns a chip at 24 hours, 30, 60 and 90 days, 6 and 9 months, a year, 18 months, and every year after that. Each one appears full screen in the app, and every chip from the current streak is kept on the counter. To stop a counter earning chips, edit it and turn off Earn chips.

I slipped. Does recording it erase my history?

No. Recording a relapse ends the current streak and starts a new one. The old streak is kept with its dates and any note you add. Chips start over with the new streak.

How do I add the widgets?
  1. Home Screen: long-press an empty area, tap Edit > Add Widget, and choose Streak. There are small and medium counter widgets, and the chip widget with Streak Pro.
  2. Lock Screen: long-press the Lock Screen, tap Customize, tap a widget area, and choose Streak (inline, circular or rectangular).

To change which counter a widget shows, long-press it and tap Edit Widget. A Lock Screen widget that says "Choose a counter" can also be tapped, and Settings > Widgets > Default counter sets the counter for widgets that don't have their own.

How do I keep my count private?

In Streak's Settings, turn on Lock with Face ID to lock the app whenever you leave it, and Hide counts on Lock Screen to show a lock instead of your count in Lock Screen widgets. Your counters never leave your device either way.

Does Streak sync between my devices?

No. Your counters stay on the device where you made them. iOS may include them in your own device backup, according to your backup settings. Deleting the app deletes them.

What iOS version do I need, and does it work on iPad?

iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later. Streak runs on iPhone and iPad.

Is Streak a treatment program?

No. Streak is a counter. If you are struggling, please reach out to a doctor or a support service near you.

StarKeep In review
How do I get help with StarKeep?

Tap Feedback in StarKeep's Settings, or email starkeep@mmhadventures.com with your question, your device model and your iOS version. Screenshots help. We typically respond within 24–48 hours.

How do I play?

Place one star in every row, every column and every color region. Stars can never touch, not even at the corners. Tap a cell to cross it out, double tap to place a star, and drag to cross out several cells at once. A wrong star costs a heart; you have three per level. The Learn screen has five short lessons, from the basics to advanced techniques.

Is StarKeep free? Are there ads?

StarKeep is free and has no ads. Every level, the Daily Challenge, the lessons and two hints per board are free, and themes can be unlocked with points you earn by playing. There is no energy, no timer and no waiting to play.

What does StarKeep Plus add?

StarKeep Plus is an optional one-time purchase: every theme without spending points, four themes only Plus owners get, unlimited hints, Relaxed mode (no hearts), every past Daily Challenge, and a supporter badge on Stats. It is shared with your family through Family Sharing. Tap Get Plus on the home screen.

I bought Plus but it isn't unlocked.

Open Settings in StarKeep and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. You will not be charged again.

Is every puzzle really solvable without guessing?

Yes. Every level has exactly one solution, and each one is checked to be solvable step by step with logic before you see it. If you are stuck, a hint shows the next step and names the technique behind it.

Will I lose my progress on a new phone?

Your points, stats and furthest level sync through your own iCloud account when iCloud is turned on for StarKeep, so they come back on a new device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Is there a colorblind mode?

Yes. In Settings, turn on Colorblind colors for a palette that stays distinct with all common types of color blindness, and Region letters to label each color region with a letter.

What do I need to run it?

StarKeep needs iOS 18 or later. It is made for iPhone and also runs on iPad.
